GVE director celebrates 20 years at GVE

GVE’s Luke Parham has celebrated a remarkable 20 years with GVE.

Luke was one of GVE’s first employees when he joined the business in April 2006 and has seen the company grow over the last two decades as we expanded our civil engineering consultancy base to building and programming services.

During his early years as a GVE consultant, Luke gained experience on water, utilities & power projects, initially on the Isle of Grain LNG Expansion before moving to AMP6 - a framework we continue to support today, now as AMP8.

With over 25 years in the construction industry, Luke has supported major civil engineering projects including HS2, Thames Tideway Tunnel, Blackfriars Bridge & Station and many other UK infrastructure projects. He is an experienced commercial manager and quantity surveyor specialising in change management on major civil engineering projects within contractor commercial teams on UK infrastructure projects and international joint venture contractors.

His success is not measured solely by project outcomes but GVE’s achievements as a business. In 2021, Luke was appointed as a director, having strong input into company direction and growth over the last five years. He is proud of GVE’s record of building and retaining relationships with clients and supporting the professional career development of our dedicated team.

GVE’s commitment to social value is another rewarding aspect of Luke’s work, providing consistent support for local charities in our community. Whether it’s volunteering at our local homeless shelter, hiking for Kent hospices or taking part in industry fundraising events, Luke always shows his dedication and determination.

Congratulations Luke on your longstanding career with GVE!
