AMP8 Framework Announcement

We are delighted to hear that CMDP+ has been awarded AMP8 by Southern Water, securing a place on two lots of the Strategic Delivery Partner framework. We would like to congratulate CMDP for the hard work and accomplishment of its teams, which lead them to be successful in winning part of the AMP8 framework.

 

GVE has a long-standing relationship with the CMDP JV (and previously the 4D JV), having successfully delivered commercial support on the AMP frameworks over a 15-year period (AMP 4,5,6 and 7). We are pleased to currently to providing infrastructure support on the current AMP7 framework, contributing to delivering better services and outcomes, sustainable solutions and social value within the UK water industry. We are looking forward to the opportunity to build on this valued relationship and deliver commercial services on AMP8.

AMP7 is the seventh Asset Management Period planned by the water industry in the UK and plays a crucial role in shaping the activities and investments of water companies during this period. The AMP7 framework runs from 2020-2025. Our managing quantity surveyors work within a team of quantity surveyors and commercial managers to deliver the works under the framework agreement, using in-depth contractual knowledge and understanding of NEC to ensure the contract is correctly administered.

GVE has provided long-term quantity surveying services/teams under various forms of contract including IChemE and NEC forms to provide expansion to waste and clean water treatment works across Kent and Sussex over the 15-year period. We have been involved in multiple projects providing procurement services, subcontract management and administration to final accounts, monthly business reporting, change management, dispute avoidance and regular client collaboration.

GVE and its senior consultants have been operating for over 20 years in the water industry. We have extensive experience of delivering commercial support to the sector, developing excellent working relationships with valued clients such as Costain. Our team of experienced consultants deliver tailored support to meet the needs of each individual project and provide NEC expertise.
