M20 Junction 10a

The project involved construction of a new junction on the M20 motorway in Kent including a roundabout over the motorway, new slip roads and a new link road. GVE provided two senior quantity surveyors on the project for various packages including the lead Designer under an NEC3 professional services contract.

 

GVE also provided assistance with procurement of subcontractor packages ranging in value from £30k to £3m from tender to contract award and administration of these packages through to final account.

 

Tasks included preparation and review of all communications, attendance at meetings, administration of payments and preparation and submission of CE notifications and quotations to the client (Highways England) via CEMAR - NEC3 Option C.
