Isle of Grain LNG Expansion

GVE were involved in Phases 2 & 3 (2007-2010) of the project at the Grain Liquefied Natural Gas (LNG) terminal on the Isle of Grain, Kent. GVE provided commercial management services to assist the international EPC contractor to engineer, procure and construct the £500m scheme.

 

GVE provided contract administrators for management of major civil engineering packages including; site remediation, installation of 8,000 CFA piles (circa £10m), process plant substructures and buildings, LNG storage tank substructure and slip-formed superstructure, pipeline corridor and construction of the LNG tanker berthing jetty and control complex.
