GVE's team tackle obstacle course for local charity

GVE’s team have kicked off a busy year of fundraising activities by taking part in our first event of 2026 - the Inflatable5k!

The annual event, held at Brands Hatch in Kent, sees participants running, jumping, sliding and swinging their way through the 2.5k inflatable obstacle course, which they complete over two laps.

GVE’s team, including partners and younger family members took part in the event on Saturday 16th May 2026 on behalf of Maidstone-based charity, the Young Lives Foundation - one of the event's charity supporters.

Our team completed two laps within an hour although it was a busy event with waiting time at certain points of the course. Well done to everyone from GVE who took part and their families!

Our donation of £250 to the Young Lives Foundation will directly go to young people across Kent to support the charity’s youth groups. Sessions are delivered weekly and include activities such as cooking, music, games and creative projects as well as mentoring and emotional support.

 

We are looking forward to supporting more charitable initiatives across our region, with GVE's team taking part in a packed schedule of events throughout the year. GVE's fundraising is an important part of our work and helps us to support the local community in and around Maidstone, Kent.
