GVE ranks in Kent’s top 50 fastest-growing businesses

For the second-year running, we are celebrating our ranking in the MegaGrowth 50 demonstrating successful business growth within in our region. GVE’s 29th place was announced at a special ceremony on Tuesday 17th March 2026 at the Tudor Park hotel, near Maidstone, marking a leap of eight places up the table from last year’s ranking.
 

GVE’s Managing Director (Steve Goodwin) and Finance Manager (Paul Chattenton) were there to collect the accolade on behalf of everyone at GVE, meeting with business leaders across the county within the construction industry and other sectors including manufacturing, hospitality, residential care and retail.
 

Steve Goodwin said it is important to be recognised for notable growth and it’s positive impact on the business:“ Our improvement, from 37th place in 2025 to 29th in 2026, reflects our commitment over the last year to develop our consultancy services, enabling GVE to extend its support to the UK’s contractors and specialist contractors with its quantity surveying, programming, training, dispute management, and commercial management services on major projects.”  

We would like to thank Kreston Reeves and Brachers, who in partnership with the Kent Invicta Chamber of Commerce, produce the MegaGrowth 50 league initiative - valuing the contribution of growing regional businesses to local economies in the current economic environment.

MegaGrowth 50 is an annual ranking based on the average turnover growth of privately owned businesses that have a minimum turnover of £1 million.
